Getting Onnit!

Six months ago, I embarked on a journey with Onnit, a platform revolutionizing how we approach volunteer work. Onnit isn't just a digital space; it's a community-driven powerhouse enabling individuals to either join existing volunteer initiatives or create their own. It's been a transformative period, not just for me but for the 9000 monthly users who've found a home in Onnit's mission.
Last week I was proud to see Onnit in use through the University of St Andrews Golf Club. After all the storms that St Andrews had endured, West Sand was covered with trash and we decided to join forces to clean it up.
Equipped with nothing but our determination (and a lot of trash bags), we fought less-than-ideal weather conditions. Our objective was clear: clear the beach of debris disrupting its natural charm. This task, intimidating at first, transformed into a victory of community spirit. In just a few hours, we had cleared approximately 500 kg of trash – a testament to what we can achieve together.
This is why Onnit was created. It goes beyond being just a platform; it's a movement. It's about empowering communities, fostering a sense of belonging, and encouraging proactive change. Our cleanup at West Sands is just one example of how small actions can lead to significant impacts.
As we continue to make strides in community service and environmental stewardship, I invite you to be a part of this journey. Whether you're looking to join an existing initiative or have a vision for a new one, Onnit is the place to bring that vision to life.
Our success at West Sands is just a grain of sand. With every initiative, every volunteer, and every community that joins us, we're building a brighter, cleaner future.
I'll leave you with a link to Onnit. Explore, join, or start your initiative, and let's make the world a better place, together.
Don’t wait, get Onnit!
(No pictures of the Spanish Golfer, I was the camera man😂)
