This Monday, October 16, the preview of the film "My Other Jon" took place, a cinematographic work that will make people laugh, cry and reflect deeply on life and friendship. Directed by Paco Arango, this film is an exciting journey that invites us to dream and value every moment of our lives. But what makes this film even more special is that it is 100% charitable, and all funds raised will go to fighting childhood cancer.
Synopsis
The story of the film revolves around Merche, played by Carmen Maura, who receives devastating news about her health. Determined to fulfill her dreams and those of her best friends, she embarks on an extraordinary adventure that includes a surprising scientific proposal. Merche will have the opportunity to live her last days in the body of Jon, a Basque truck driver played by Fernando Albizu. This plot twist raises fascinating questions about life, death and identity, while celebrating friendship and the determination to make the most of the time we have been given.
"My Other Jon" It is not only a film about saying goodbye to life, but also a celebration of friendship, adventure and the determination to pursue our dreams before it is too late. It makes us reflect on what we would do if we had little time left and reminds us of the importance of taking advantage of every moment.
A Star Cast
"My Other Jon" It has a cast of renowned actors and public figures who have decided to join this solidarity cause. Carmen Maura, Olivia Molina, Fernando Albizu, and Aitana Sánchez-Gijón are just some of the talented artists who are part of this exciting film. Even personalities like Mariano Rajoy have collaborated to give visibility to this noble initiative.
A noble and supportive cause
Paco Arango, director of the film and president of the Aladina Foundation, has dedicated his career to charitable cinema, allocating 100% of the proceeds from his films to help children with cancer. The success of the film will determine how much good they can do, and is an opportunity for all of us to be part of this noble cause.
"My Other Jon" will hit theaters next October 20, and we invite you to join this exciting cinematographic experience that will make a difference in the fight against childhood cancer.

My second Jon - The Golf Garden
Another incredible initiative from the Aladina foundation"El Jardín del Golf," a project supported by our beloved Barrika golfer, Jon Rahm and the Spanish Golf Federation. This project has inaugurated a golf recreational space at the Niño Jesús Hospital in Madrid, designed to provide joy and entertainment to hospitalized children and adolescents.
This new "Golf Garden" offers children the opportunity to experience golf in a welcoming environment. With dimensions of approximately 800 square meters, the space has four holes with different designs and characteristics that make the experience as real as possible.
Jon (The golfer, not the truck driver) has decided to share his passion with all these children. Sport and the pedagogical values associated with golf, such as tolerance, freedom and healthy habits, are elements that will greatly help all the children at the Niño Jesús Hospital.
This beautiful initiative has been possible thanks to the collaboration of various organizations, including the Niño Jesús Children's Hospital, the Aladina Foundation, the Jon Rahm Golf for Kids Foundation, the Royal Spanish Golf Federation, Callaway and Sport Five. The Aladina Foundation will use this space to provide classes to children with cancer, allowing them to participate in recreational and sports activities.
With these two Jons the Aladina Foundation continues to make it possible for children with cancer and their families to cope with this damned disease a little better. We invite you to support these noble causes and enjoy the film "My Other Jon" when it hits theaters on October 20. Together, we can make a difference in the fight against childhood cancer!
